Storm Jib

Description:

Designed and manufactured to meet the latest ISAF Offshore Special Regulations using high quality storm orange polyester. Luff attachment can be either with large hanks to a dedicated second stay or the sail can be made as a 'wrap' to be used in conjunction with a roller reefing headsail. Intended Application:

Area must be no greater than 5% of the foretriangle (I) squared and have a maximum luff length no greater than 65% of I.

Storm Trysail

Description:

Designed and manufactured to meet the latest ISAF Offshore Special Regulations using high quality storm orange polyester. Luff attachment options are dependant on the boat/rig configuration, the high cut tack allows the sail to set above the lowered mainsail. The clew is positioned to be sheeted independently of the boom. Contact the loft for more details.

Area must be no greater than 17.5% mainsail hoist (P) x mainsail foot length (E)

Heavy Weather Jib/No4 Jib

Description:

Designed and manufactured to meet the latest ISAF Offshore Special Regulations. Usually made from a high quality woven polyester or HMPE/Dyneema but can be made as a more performance orientated sail from our Filmless membrane for race boats with lighter displacement. For these boats this sail does act as part of their offshore race sail inventory. Contact the Loft for more details
